Does anyone read this blog??
Even if no one reads this blog I enjoy occassionally writing random thoughts here...it can be therapeautic....if you read the blog please leave a comment good bad or indifferent just so I know whether i am writing to myself or not...I will try and post more frequently
Dear Bill: The very first time I met you was on my first 6 mile run with several TNT members and a few people that hang at the running store in Millburn. The most I had run this year was 4 miles and 6 seemed like an eternity. On my way back at around mile 5 or so, you caught up with me, I tend to run alone. We spoke for a little while about a few things, mostly about the Marine's marathon a few people were training for. I didn't think I would make the six miles, but your talking and determination to keep me from walking was all I needed! I thought you rocked that day as I drove home feeling great about a personal achievement. I remember thinking, Nery, you only have another 20 miles to go to finish a marathon. THANK YOU and Yes your blog does get read by me and I am sure a lot of other people. Many regards Nery Ragno
Welcome to my blog! I am the head running coach for Team In Training's Northern New Jersey chapter. I am a relatively new marathoner, but once I started I caught the bug pretty quickly. My first marathon was Disney 2002 and since then I have completed (or by the end of Nov) 23 marathons and uncounted half marathons in 11 States (NJ, NY, FL, TX, IL, CA, AK, AZ, MA, TN, PA), on my way to 50 States plus DC.
On my blog I will be posting thoughts and musings about running, training for long distance events, and other related subjects. If you like what you read here, feel free to comment!
